So
You Want to do a Satellite Broadcast |
| |
| |
The
video unit of the Information Department produces videotapes and satellite
conferences to support extension programming and distance education
efforts. |
| |
| |
Please
keep these steps in mind when proposing and planning your videotape. |
| |
| |
Fill
out a Proposal for Videotape or Satellite
Conferences form, available from the Information Department. |
| |
| |
Schedule
a meeting with the senior video
producer, who will help you arrive at an estimated budget and
answer questions about the production process. Please do this prior
to including a video program option in a grant proposal. |
| |
| |
Discuss
the project and budget with the department chair(s) and appropriate
Extension Assistant Director. |
| |
| |
Secure
department or program funding for video productions to cover production
costs, such as time-slip help, transportation, lodging, meals, videotape,
audiotape, graphics and duplication. Final approval of all proposals
and allocation of funds rests with the Assistant Directors. |
